37 years of law enforcement experience spanning all areas of the field, working for 9 differnt departments. Bulk of my time has been in the correctional field. I spent 5 years as a patrol officer in Pinal County Arizona in the early 90's. Currently I am with the Michigan Departmewnt of Corrections for the last 29 years. Bulk of which has been at Marquette Branch Prison (26 years). I have been an operator on our Emergency Respopnse Team for 25 years where I hold the roll of team leader and hold certifications as a master trainer in active shooter, building clearing, combat medic, critical incident managment/hostage negotiation, arrest law, prisoner managment, critcal incident writting, and defensive tactics. I am a security threat group expert, and a graduate of the Reid school of interogation. I am a 21 year memeber of my departments elite Honor Guard unit.
